Behind the Scenes with Dawning Outlook

Dawning Outlook is a Minster, Ohio based band consisting of four guys: Tyler Gutman (lead vocals, guitar), Drew Hogenkamp (guitar), Jake Floyd (bass), and Caleb Ahrns (drums). With a near perfect blend of energetic live shows, modern rock, and the classic bluesy rock everyone enjoys; Dawning Outlook is rapidly becoming a household name.
The band sat down with Jukebox after their video shoot, to share their thoughts on the events that took place that day.
Jukebox: What was your favorite part of today’s shoot?
Caleb Ahrns:It was really fun being on Jukebox, it was a different experience then what I'm used to,
but it was so fun. I loved playing here and would love to do it again if I got that opportunity.
Jake Floyd: Being on Jukebox was really cool. I thought the set looked good. We are used to playing
in small spaces, so it was pretty fun.
Drew Hogenkamp:It's something different, I mean you didn't play in front of a crowd, but it's
a lot of fun. It's something I would definitely recommend it!
Tyler Gutman:Yeah I liked it!
Jukebox: Who is your favorite crewmember?
Tyler Gutman:I like that guy, who is known as Jared.
Drew Hogenkamp:I'm going to have to go with Jared, "that guy", for doing basically everything.
We couldn't have been able to do it without him.
Jake Floyd:That one guy who did the lights, the slates, the fog. Oh! It's "that guy", Jared!
Caleb Ahrns:I'm going to go against the grain and not pick Jared.
Because he probably is going to lead to my lung cancer from the fog in like 20 years.So I'll go Matt.
Jake Floyd: Because he bought us pizza.
